My CAS Christmas Card

 Greetings!

Today I finally finished my entry to the CAS Christmas August Challenge. Completed the greeting this morning, so here I am. I am also posting this card to the Pixie's Snippets Playground Challenge # 409

What do you think? Does this card have enough white space?

I took this picture with the card atop my TV cabinet in front of some plants. It's the best light up there, although many photo tries went into the trash.

Starting with PTI White cardstock, I die cut three boughs with the handy I.O. Die called Pine Branch. Next I used Erin Lee Creative Holographic card stock to die cut the lights garland from Waffle Flower. This die set called Holiday Lights Die is for sale many places online. I cannot find the silvery 6 x 4-1/2 c.s. anywhere but the branch die is around. The camera picked up the holographic colors, but in real life it seems like just silver color.

Anyway, the branches are snippets of dark green cardstock, probably Hunter Green (retired) from S.U. I wove the lights strings the best I could among the branches. Another snippet of Real Red c.s. was die cut with an Elizabeth Craft Designs small die called Merry Christmas. I think it is just the right size to finish up the card and it is still available. Stick It adhesive sure was helpful.

Done. The card was easier to make then to photograph. So far I have made a card for the above Christmas challenge every month this year.

I appreciate all my visitors and love comments. Be sure I can reach you to return the visit. Cyber hugs from a sunny Sunday and warm evening in Minnesota.
