Circle a Deer for Christmas

Have made a start on my Christmas cards using some NBUS. Not that I am late getting started, you know. lol  This one is a CASE of one by Drucie at my favorite local craft store Crafter's Haven in Minneapolis. The new goodies are the silver mirror paper (forgot to check the mfg label) I only used a (snippet of the paper) and the wonderful die by Memory Box. The card front is made with a oldie embossing folder from Cuttlebug called Snow Flakes that is at least 4 years old. I am linking the card to CASology Week 277: Round and to MUSE :ChristmasVisions 90 challenges. Edited to add to Pixie's Crafty Workshop: Pixie's Snippits Playground Weeks 309-310 .

I am really pleased how this turned out and had to laugh when I noticed reflections in the die-cut. It is lovely in real life. The scalloped circle surrounding the deer fits the CASology challenge and it is a truly CAS (IMHO) card with a lot of white space. I like the elegance of this card. To preserve the elegance on the front, my sentiment, a curvy Merry Christmas die cut a snippet made from the same mirror paper was put inside. That die is also from Memory Box, called Merry Christmas Script.

The MUSE challenge calls for any holiday card. A fancy deer and snowflakes to me are holiday themes. Making holiday cards sure is fun!

Gotta get busy and make more Christmas cards, so bye, bye and thanks for visiting.
