Maddie Creates Too!

This card was made last Saturday by my dear granddaughter Maddie. She is eight years old. She made her own white cardbase using the bone folder like I taught her and dug into my scraps to make the card. She loves using my small Fiskars guillotine cutter (which has a safety guide) and makes great shapes. Her hand printed greeting says "Peace". The colored paper is from The Paper Co. - Patriot Blue and the flowers are scraps from an old designer paper. She created both the front and inside layouts herself . The Happy Birthday Wishes stamp is from Mark's Finest Papers.
Didn't she do a super job? I proudly think so. Thanks for visiting today.

Happy Valentine's Day from Reba and Me

Hello again. Happy day to all who read this post. Here is the card I finished, finally. It was made for one of my granddaughters. Too much in a hurry to get to the post office, so did not get to photo the other two cards. This card is made of Real Red and Cherry Cobbler (SU!) paper, with white cardstock layering. The stamped flower is from the Va Va Va Voom set (Technique Tuesday) with lots of diamond and gold glitter. (Ranger's Stickles) A tiny heart (SU!) is stamped and placed in the middle outlined with a white gel pen. The punch is a Fiskars one I bought last summer at a yard sale. I am spending the evening at the home of one of my daughter's for heart shaped pizza and cake. Get to see my dear granddaughter too! Lucky me. Thanks for coming by.

Reba Li Helping Again...

Just a quick post tonight. Here I am trying to make some Valentine's Day cards, and Reba has to be right on top of things. I quickly propped up a card topper next to her and snapped this picture. Does she look as if she likes it? I will post the card when it is finished. Stay warm everyone. It is below zero here tonight. Thanks for visiting with us.
